-lI' your (beings able to use language)
This suffix is only used to describe beings able to use language, which belong to the one person being spoken to. It would be a grievous insult to use the -lIj suffix on a person, particularly one of higher rank or someone otherwise important. There is a different suffix for someone that belongs to a group of people being spoken to - this will be covered in a later post.Unlike -wI', there is no confusion when -lI' is used on a verb which has been turned into a noun with the -wI' verb suffix thing which does; doer.
