tlhIngan Hol expresses locations in a number of ways, from the use of the Type 5 noun suffixes -Daq locative or -vo' from, away from through to numerous specific nouns, adverbials of place and verbs.

A noun with the -Daq noun suffix can be placed in a sentence at the beginning, just before the object-verb-subject construction:-

The following are all nouns which, like locative words, can be placed at the start of a sentence:-
